When you visit our website, the following data is automatically collected: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time and date of access. This data is used exclusively for the technical provision of the website and is not linked with other data.
This website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). These services use cookies to analyse website usage and measure conversions. The data collected is transferred to Google servers in the USA. For reach and usage analysis we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GA4 truncates IP addresses and does not store any full IP address. We have limited the retention period for user and event data to 2 months and disabled cross-device tracking via Google Signals.
Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google Analytics and Google Ads are only loaded after your active consent via the cookie banner. You can revoke your consent at any time by deleting your browser cookies.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Without your consent, no cookies are set and no personal identifiers are transmitted to Google; only aggregated, cookieless signals (e.g. for conversion modelling) may be transferred. Google Analytics and Google Ads are only fully activated with cookies once you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and consent under the Swiss FADP). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner.

On our product and tool pages you can voluntarily submit a review. We process the data you provide (your name or display name, star rating and an optional comment). A review is only displayed publicly after manual review and approval by us. Publication of your name and comment takes place solely with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 31 Swiss FADP), which you give when submitting the review. The data is stored for display purposes with our infrastructure provider Cloudflare (see section 5a). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future and request deletion of your review – a short email to [email protected] is sufficient.
Our paid interactive web tools (e.g. calculators and cockpits) run entirely locally in your browser. The content you enter (e.g. figures and text) is not transmitted to us but stored only locally in your browser (localStorage); no user account is required. To unlock the tools, your personal licence key is transmitted to our payment and licensing provider Lemon Squeezy (see section 5) for validity and device checks (activation on up to 3 devices, term 1 year). In this context, technical data such as a device/activation identifier and the IP address may be processed. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / Art. 31 Swiss FADP).
